Day 2 of 5 from Start With One
Making Your Life Count offers two ways to obtain our material from The Bible App. By the end of 2017, we will have twenty different five-day plans divided into the four themes of WALK, PRAY, CARE and SHARE. This gives a total of 100 days of devotional material. All of our devotionals include a short inspirational audio message.

Thanks for your patience.
We all know people who need to come to know Christ. Do you pray for opportunities to share with them? It is encouraging when the time between the "ask" and the "answer" in prayer is short. It is even more encouraging when the answer is “yes.” Chris Vinnetti experienced this with neighbors on his prayer list.

You can begin each day praying that God would lead you to one person you can help point to Jesus. Scripture makes it clear that there is a connection between our prayers and God providing opportunities to talk about Jesus. The Apostle Paul would often mention people by name in his prayers. He would also be specific in his requests. Why not pray for opportunities to share Christ with people around you?
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains, but when he arrived in Rome he searched for me earnestly and found me— may the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that Day!—and you well know all the service he rendered at Ephesus.
I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
