Much is written about the nature of God. The most often mentioned characteristic is His grace-filled love. God's love is not like the love expressed by many in our culture today. For many, love is conditional. The conditions may vary, but there are still conditions to be met to "earn" love. Rosa Marti shares how unconditional love can make a drastic difference in someone’s life.

Love is not something God chooses to do or give. It is the very essence of who He is. His love is an example of the way we should aspire to be. The problem is we often measure love by human standards. It can be hard to imagine what it means to love without conditions. Are there people in your life that are hard to love? People you wish would behave a certain way before you show them love? It is often easier to tell someone that “God loves them” than to tell them that you love them. Take time this week to show and tell someone that you love them. See if your love, without conditions, could change their life.
