God's unconditional love for us is a perfect example of how we should love and care for others. This is true regardless of their ability to benefit us in return. And we are able to do this because God has given us His spirit of love. He asks us to reflect this caring spirit to those around us. Pastor Matt Chandler describes how he saw a reflection of God's love during a desperate time in his life.

What a beautiful image of God's unconditional love. No circumstances can separate us from His love. In a similar way, our love for others needs to be steadfast - even in the midst of their lowest, weakest moments. Pause to think about the people in your life. What are ways you can reflect Christ's love to them through your caring actions? Whether close loved ones or acquaintances, you can make a difference in their lives.
