Making Your Life Count offers two ways to obtain our material from The Bible App. By the end of 2017, we will have twenty different five-day plans divided into the four themes of WALK, PRAY, CARE and SHARE. This gives a total of 100 days of devotional material. All of our devotionals include a short inspirational audio message.

Thanks for your patience.
In today’s fast paced world there is pressure to fill our calendars with to-dos. When asked how we are doing, the popular response is to talk about all of our stress due to our busy schedules. We often try to plan more than we are able to do and strive for perfection in everything. This leaves us with a sense of failure and disappointment when things do not go the way we think they should. But our own plans and expectations may be different from God’s plan and His timing. Listen to Marlo as she shares about what it means to wait on the Lord.

It is easier to take things into our own hands rather than wait for the help of others. This waiting requires a lot of trust and patience. But God wants you to put that trust in Him. He can see what things lie ahead for you and He wants you to be patient with His timing. When we allow God to work, our reality turns out better than anything we would have been able to craft on our own.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
