Making Your Life Count offers two ways to obtain our material from The Bible App. By the end of 2017, we will have twenty different five-day plans divided into the four themes of WALK, PRAY, CARE and SHARE. This gives a total of 100 days of devotional material. All of our devotionals include a short inspirational audio message.

Scripture is full of specific instruction on how we should treat each other. If we are serious about following Christ, we will heed His admonition that states "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." But caring for others does something in our heart too. It changes us. Darrel Williams gives us a look at how what we do for others can make a change in our own heart.

God is a loving Father. Scripture tells us the reason we are able to love is because God loved us first. His love should compel us to love others more and sacrifice for them as He did for us. But, God does not ask us to do this only for the sake of others. He knows that as we serve, love and sacrifice for the needs of others - to go beyond ourselves - our own hearts will also change. It is amazing the difference caring for others makes to everyone involved.
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
