The Four
Think of the pain in your life that comes from injustice, anger and hatred. Add to that the destruction of relationships that result. Consider also the ways that sin robs a person of experiencing the life God desires. The weight of that burden is quite heavy, right? Now multiply that times the billions of people on earth. What would it take to free people from the consequences of sin? Who would ever want to pay such a price? The answer: Jesus.

Our sins do not keep God from loving us, but they do keep us from eternal life in heaven. There is no way we can come to God based on our works or achievements - our sin gets in the way. God gave a solution by sending Jesus to earth. He lived a sinless life. By dying on the cross, Jesus paid the bill for all our sins. By rising from the dead, it shows that He has power over death. As forgiven people we can have a relationship with God and enter heaven when we die. Why did God go so far to make a way for us? Because He loves us and offers a wonderful plan for our life. Placing your faith in Jesus provides the way for you to experience God's love and plan.
Looking Forward...
It is not enough to only know that Jesus died for our sins. Day four will show us the action step that we need to take to receive God's forgiveness.
