Where do you find your hope? It can be easy to place our hope in temporary things, but these will all fail us. Romans 10:10-11 says that anyone who trusts in Christ will never be put to shame. This means that God will never let us down. We can have hope in Him knowing that He will never fail us.

Christ is our ultimate hope. It is through His death and resurrection that we have a reason for that hope. Christ gave His life on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. By accepting this payment, we are no longer separated from Him. We will experience eternal life. We received grace - a gift we did not deserve - so that we can live in a dynamic relationship with Him. It is in Him that we have eternal hope!
Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
