Day 3 of 5 from Explore New Places Along The Way
Making Your Life Count offers two ways to obtain our material from The Bible App. By the end of 2017, we will have twenty different five-day plans divided into the four themes of WALK, PRAY, CARE and SHARE. This gives a total of 100 days of devotional material. All of our devotionals include a short inspirational audio message.

Each day is filled with interactions. In our texts, calls, emails, face-to-face and conversations, words are exchanged. Do you ever find yourself debating between several different responses or comments? With our words, we have choices. And each choice often comes down to the option to build up or to tear down. Author and speaker Christin Ditchfield has come to appreciate the profound impact of words.

Are you intentional with your words? Better yet, have you committed to continually let God use your words for His good purposes? This is not an easy endeavor and may at times feel uncomfortable. But if you stay near to God on your journey and depend upon the Holy Spirit, He will help you provide life-giving words to others. Be conscientious this week of how you interact with others, and ask God to give you words that give grace as you share your story with others.
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
